Terms of Service

This is a draft of the terms that govern use of the Onwards website (onwards.marketing). Paid engagements are covered by separate written service agreements, not by these terms. I’ll publish a final version before launch.

1. About Onwards

Onwards is operated by Yash Singh as a sole trader based in Glasgow, Scotland. References to “I,” “me” or “Onwards” in these terms refer to that business. You can reach me at yash@onwards.marketing.

2. Using this website

You may browse the site and share its public pages freely. You may not copy, republish, resell or scrape content from the site for commercial use without written permission. The case studies on this site describe work I have done for specific clients; you may not represent that work as your own or reuse the creative assets shown.

3. Website content

I aim to keep information on the site accurate, but it is provided for general information and discussion. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or tax advice, and nothing here forms a binding offer to provide services. Any engagement begins only when a separate written proposal or service agreement is signed.

4. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content on this site (copy, code, design, imagery) is owned by Onwards or used under licence. Client logos and case study materials appear with permission and remain the property of the relevant client.

For work I deliver under an engagement, ownership of deliverables is governed by the service agreement you sign. My default position is that you own what I build for you once invoices are paid.

5. Third-party links

The site links to third-party services such as case study websites, tool vendors and my scheduling tool. I’m not responsible for the content, privacy practices or availability of sites I link to.

6. Liability

I take reasonable care to make sure the site works as intended, but I cannot guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or free from security risks outside my control. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of this website. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Liability relating to paid engagements is governed by the separate service agreement for that engagement.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

8. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change counts as acceptance of the updated terms.
